Quick and Easy Socks Pattern

Are you looking for a simple sock pattern to show off a special skein of yarn? This DK sock pattern covers sizes from child to adult allowing you to quickly knit up a pair of cozy socks.

Yarn

Crush DK – 75% Merino, 25% Nylon. 225 m per 100 g

1 skein will make a pair up to about adult 6. Larger than this I recommend two skeins or 1 skein and an extra 20g to comfortably get a pair of ankle socks

Samples knitted in Ruby Embers, Bonfire Glow, Chamomile, Neon Kiwi, Lighthouse, Lulworth Cove, Winter Solstice

Needles

3.25 mm (US3) needles, or size needed to get gauge

Pattern can be worked in any method for knitting on a small circumference in the round. Sample was knitted with double pointed needles

26 stitches and 36 rounds to 10 cm (4”) in stocking stitch

Extra Small - 11 cm; Small - 14 cm; Medium - 15.5 cm; Large - 17 cm;

Adult Sizes:

Small - 18.5 cm; Medium - 20 cm; Large - 23 cm; Extra Large - 26 cm;

Designed to be worn with approximately 2.5 cm (1”) negative ease although for small children I suggest knitting a size nearer the foot size to allow room for growth.

3 stitch markers and a tapestry needle are also required
